--------They are all built right here in the Detroit area by Steve Pastiener (sp), ex GM employee. He is one of the finest craftsmen I have ever run across. You should see some of the other stuff he has designed and built! Dont know how many of these he has built by now. Possibly 100 or more. He and a GM supplier in Canada did a proposal to GM to build these for Chevrolet dealer distribution in 2003. A sort of a Corvette 50th anniversary present to those that could afford it (and I dont think it was all that expensive). Of course, in all its glory GM Passed on the proposal, but Steve decided to build them anyway. You have to love that attitude.........Bill S

I am sure it is all relative. Have to say, that is one great looking car. Have always loved the 53 - 55 body style. What a great job of getting the retro look on a new Corvette.

Yes, That is the One!! Not too often I see a Car that turned my head the way that one did! The pictures and story are great. GM dropped the Ball not doing that Car as a Retro piece. Meanwhile at the FORD Camp, They cannot pump the RETRO Mustang out quick enough!!

Leave it to a Ford guy to like that thing. That car is the answer to a question that was never asked.
