Does anyone here know what happened to the Corvette/Corvettes from the movie "Corvette Summer"?

"It's on display --- where!?" The 1973 Stingray used in the film (custom built by Dick Korkes at Korky's Custom Studios in Van Nuys, California) was on display at the National Corvette Museum (Bowling Green, Kentucky) in their "Hollywood 'Vettes" exhibit area, but now it is owned by Mid America Designs in Effingham, Illinois (thanks to Andrew Jackson for the tip!). You can see more images of the corvette HERE (http://www.corvettemagazine.com/2000/october/summer/summerp1.asp) .
Tony van 't Leven let me in on the fact that there was a 2nd car built for the movie that is on display at the Corvette Hall of Fame near Cooperstown, NY. Apparently, there is a theater that plays Corvette Summer continuously thru the day there as well! You can read more about it HERE (http://vettenet.org/museum1.html) .
In addition to this, Bob Boyle indicated to me that there were possibly up to 7 corvettes made for the movie! Apparently, he had a friend in college (in Costa Mesa) that drove the corvette to school each day!

That is slightly incorrect information. Mid America bought the car from the defunct museum in Cooperstown NY (that's also where RockCrusher67's Maco came from). Mid America loaned it to the Corvette Museum for the "Corvettes of Hollywood" display, but that was just for a short period of time.
There has been talk that the 2nd Corvette Summer car is down in Australia.
There are also a couple of clones of the car.

I live about 45 minutes from Cooperstown, NY and had been to the "Corvette Hall of Fame" several times. One day a friend and I actually had a long discussion with the owner. There were 2 theaters there. One continuously ran "Corvette Summer" and one ran "Death Race 2000". It was a nice place and they had some very rare and interesting 'Vettes there. In fact my buddy and I often wondered if they were all real and if they were all drivable. The museum shut down about 2 years ago. There was one car on display in the theater where they showed the movie. It was wild looking.
