What is the appropriate width and height of a drag slick for an unmodified '70 Chevelle (no tubbing or axle mods & no suspension mods)? For example, would a 29.00 x 11.50-15 work? I am returning my car's look to its former glory days on the track. I have found out that the 26.5 " tall slicks do not fill up the wheel well adequately. Will be using Hoosiers.
Thanks,

You can get a 29.5x10.5 mt in there easy witht the right offset you can go 29.5x11.5. 15x8 with 4 3/4 bs this will suck th esiewall in a little more. Hope it helps. sean

Sam I have some pics I forward to you. What rim are you using? I will take some back shot so mine for you. I put on a 15x10 with a 5 7/8 offset and it is perfect no rubbing.

Sam, you will want to be in the 5" range or more otherwise you will have a problem with it being to much toward the outside. Worts case you could use a spacer chevelles never seem to be square. Sean
