Anyone know anything particular about this dealer? Anyone got a car from there?

Erik,

Though this car isn't from this dealer...according to the new owner...the car with these frames is being discussed HERE! (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/144699/page/0/fpart/1/vc/1) These are just plates that were put on the car when it was sold to the current owner...as the previous owner kept the Dana Chevrolet plates.

A guy named Rod Rodriquez owned this dealer and a group of dealers in Fresno when I worked for him in the early 80s. I belive he has sold all his dealers in the last few years. I remember having conversations with Rod about some high performance cars that his son owned. If I remeber right he had a few mid 60s Fords or Chevrolets of some sort with 427 motors. If this store had any high performance roots I would think Charley would know about it.

Thanks for the info guys. The reason I asked is because I picked up a vintage Rodway frame like the one pictured at my local Parts A Rama last weekend. The seller told me it was from CA, and I knew I'd seen or heard the name somewhere before. Thought it was odd a CA dealer frame being at the Pittsburgh swap and I decided it should come home with me. Anyone got a car from Rodway and needs a frame PM me, I'll hook ya up.
