Need chevy 14x7 steel wheels (4), XT's would be great, but any vintage steel wheel will do. If date coded, prior to 9/70 would be correct.

First, thanks for the leads. What is visually different between the IF and XT wheels? Not sure I have ever seen an IF wheel.

No difference that I can tell between the XT and IF wheels, even placing them side by side. The JZ 14x7 wheels have some differences. If you can get the XTs mentioned above for $100 each and they are in good condition, that's a deal. They go upwards of $250 each on ebay. Good luck, BCD.

How about K 10 4 on one side of the stem and 13 CL on the other? They are 14X7's. What application? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Hey Dean, looking in Colvin's book they only list the Camaro SS for the CL code in 70, Nova SS shows XT. Maybe they used them late in the model year or as a substitute. 71 Nova SS listed with CL code.

I just recently bought a set of XT wheels on ebay that I had to put an additional $200 in to have them straightened and trued by Stockton wheel service. They asked what my initial cost was and they told me they reproduce 14 X 7 wheels for less than I had in my XT wheels. They also used to be a Kelsey Hayes dealer in the that era 69-70. I helped my neighbor part out his rotted NY. 72 SS and got the original spare with a Uniroyal raised white letter tire dry rotted on a CL wheel. The differences I noted was that the XT was raised between the Stud holes and the CL wheel was flat, same width and offset. Hope this can help you.

Had to laugh at the above comment........YES I'm still and Always looking for CL wheels for my 70 SS (L-78) Camaro. I have two now, but continue looking for MORE.
Tom W, Colvins book does show CL wheel applications in 71 and 72.....guess you already saw this.......Saw and took pictures of your cars at Carlisle....Regret not meeting you, I spent most of my time in LEGENDS "shed" with judged cars........

Too funny...this guy bought my original XT spare a couple weeks ago...looks like he swapped out my original Burgandy wheel for his black one and threw it back up on Ebay! Hey, whatever works!
