Mark that is cool vintage pic! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Where was it taken in Chicago? Any info on the car as far as the selling dealer, where the original owner was from, how the car was quipt when hew etc?

hello hvychev,
the picture is from around 1983 or 1984 and right
behind my house with the white one car garage by
the red coach house.(foster and western aves area)
the car was original a small block with a 3 speed on the
tree but when i brought the car it had a 396 with a 4 speed
and 56 olds spool rear end.
i dont know any of the history of the car except i brought off my brother in 1987 and my brother brought the car off
my godfathers cousin in 1983 or 1984.the owner of the car
before all of the above was from IN. i think.(?????)
the original drive train is long gone and the vinyl top
is too.the interior is still there with the exception of
the second generstion high back bucket seats.
the quarters were cut to fit bigger tires too also the
trans tunnel was attacked with a sawzall for the 4 speed
shifter.
thanks for your time

Hmmm...now I know where those long black marks came from right outside the convention center door...All along I thought it might have come from a certain L88 Camaro... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
