Mr 70 - you got your ears on? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Could be fairly fresh meat on the market.

He wants 49500!
It's Beautiful! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Aside from some minor cosmetic corrections needed here & there,it checks out from what I have seen on the auction pix.
I Have records of another L-78 built 11 units earlier then this, and one built soon after.
That was the Zenith of production for this particular car at that plant. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

Hey Rick,
Where do you suppose he found his BS? Hint: where are most of the BSs found on Lakewood built 70 'velles?

Sam did that guy you know ever finish the green 396 he was working on?
Carmen
Drivers Door panel, then rear seat, then package tray.
Some of his text is off,325HP should be 350HP & there's that "S" word again..Hello Bloomington Corvetes. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
I think he's advertising this on Team Chevelle too.
Pretty unique it came with a T-60 side terminal Battery..now if it only had a TH400. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey Carmen, did u call him to verify $49.5? If the car is as reported, that is not out of line. How is yr quest for a '70 velle coming? I am still looking for you. However, I saw a '70, 48/48, 4spd, L34, velle, bench, A/C,(no vinyl top Carmen) with good docs at the Pavillions this past Sat. I did not run the #'s tho. I know the owner and he will probably be selling it. He is looking for a correct AM radio, new package shelf and speakers and a few other odds and ends. Car looks solid and appears to be in good driver condition. Let me know if you are interested.

Did not see this post as I was writing my other one. This is gonna get confusing. The green one u refer to in the above quote was sold to a local dealer shortly after I checked it out for you and am not sure of current status, but can look into it for you. Now, the other post I just made on yet another green/green '70 'velle(man that was a popular) color)is a completely different animal.

Carmen,
Well, now that is a challenge to get you in yr rod prior to nuptials. Stand by! What say we pull the stops out for this lad about to embark on his marriage.

Rick,
Looks like it ended early with a bid just over $40K. What is the inside scoop?

The owner posted on Team Chevelle that the car sold for $60K. In the couple post he made, he didn't seem like a very pleasant person.

Sam, that $40K bid was mine, but I didn't buy it. The car was worth $45k to me in that color combo so that's what I bid. After reading the seller's responses, I'm glad I didn't drive down to see the car...

I find it kind of funny that he said 49,500 buys it and then tells everyone it sold for 60k http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gifSounds like a bunch of B.S. probably will end up on e-bay agian.
Sean http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
I know who was offering the $49,500.00,upon my going to inspect it in person.
I was making plans to go see it in a few days, when the seller contacted us lastnight & said a Local collector had just offered him 60K cash.
Asked for a counter offer,& we declined and stepped away.
No hard feelings,& we all are happy here. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
