I know the Chevelles and GTO's have more fans, but this car needs more attention.

I would LOVE to have one of those but I can only afford to have one toy at a time. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

I'm waiting by the phone to make a deal on a 69 T/A convertible out of the Sacramento area, but that is a neat looking Buick.
Hey Stu...you wanna ride out to SCR on Thurs and back with me on Sun? Separate rooms though, buddyboy.

Did some snooping around yesterday!! The car has a 6 figure reserve. Not to surprising when compared to some recent private sales. Patrick

Very nice looking car but one thing is wrong the hood stripes should be semi gloss black. I restored one of these 2 years ago and did alot of checking before we painted the hood. The side stripes are full gloss. As I said very nice looking car but alot of money for car that needs something corrected.

No doubt alot of cash. That hood paint is the only major deviation. However, this car is along ways away from what some have recently sold for (privately). You would still think it would have been painted correctly. Patrick

Is the T/A a four speed or automatic. I believe Milt Robison at one time had 3 of the 8 convertibles. He had 2 four speeds and 1 automatic. He sold one of the four speeds to Dick Bridges, who had Scott Tieman restore it. Do you know which one your working on? It's a 1 in 8 chance. I have a video of the Dick Bridges collection showing the T/A right after he got it from Milt.

The T/A he was referring to is mine. It is a 4 speed and being restored now. Killer part is blue deluxe interior and blue convert top.

The 4-speed cars are very rare. Especially with the Stage 1 option. 30 some percent were 4-speed cars.
The other X on E-bay has alot of incorrect things about it. Still its seldom to see even one nice X on Ebay. Patrick

White X's are rare! I'm sure I don't have to tell you that. Especially Stage 1 cars. Just sent mine to be restored. The restorer has been doing Buick Muscle Cars for over 20 years. He only restores Buicks. He told me the Mopar guys are starting to buy these cars. Check out my signature. Some of the #'s I've been given from Buick guys are quite eye opening. One White 4-speed non-air car purchased for 200K. Others in the 125k-140k range. These cars were considered best of breed cars. The rest, as they say, is up to the buyer and the seller. Patrick
A friend of mine's dad that I've know since I was about 9 years old has a 4 speed GSX that he bought brand new in 1970. This guy is a well reknown restorer of antique's and those are his first love but his muscle cars are unbelievable. The GSX has less than 10,000 miles. He also owns a 70 hemi Superbird with approx 600 miles that he must have bought sometime around 72-73(I remember him bringing it to a little league game we were in) and a 70 442-W30 with low miles.
Anyway, he was recently offered 200k for the GSX according to his son, but he didn't take it. Obviously, this guys no flipper:)

Is this car in the Tarpon Springs area? Patrick
Patrick,
If your question is to me...No, the cars I'm refering to are in Illinois where I grew up. I'm next door to Tarpon Springs, however.
