Does this help?

Thanks MR70..Those are the ones I have, however my front wheel has come loose because the nuts have worn through the wheel holes. I purchased some aftermarket ones last year. The shank was approx. 1/8 in shorter on those. May have been the cause. If I look in the Classic Industries catalog the lug nuts they show for 69 SS wheels do not look at all like the ones you our I have. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gifI'll remove the wheel tomorrow but it looks like I might be looking for a new SS wheel if its too badly damaged.
Again thanks for posting the pic!

Martin...GM makes a lug nut for the SS wheels that has a larger taper where it meets the wheel. They are designed to be used when the factory hole has been enlarged from over tightning. I have a set and they seem to work fine. I can give you a part number if you are interested in them.

Tony,
Thanks for the tip...Went to Carquest this morning and found the nuts..They work great..Wheel is damaged slightly but this fixed http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif my problem. Bought a set for each wheel.
