The 3 in the 11327 in the vin denotes it as a 6cyl. 11427 would be a v8, 11227 would be a 4cyl. Don't be confused by the 11427 on the trim tag. They all were coded that way irreguardless of the nbr of cylinders.

Would'nt a big block also have the heater core exit in the center like the camaro's as well?

Yes, but as we all know, those can be bought and changed easily.

A 1 =
A - The interior is also black to match the 731 black bench seats.
1 - There is at least one outside body molding, drip rail, door frame, body side or rocker.
Definitely a 6 shooter.

The engine suffix is HS under the altenator. I looked for a vin on the engine but did not find...

Is there any honest way to tell what transmission the car came with originally? There is a Factory hole abt the size of a silver dollar in the middle of the tunnel near the front on the floor board.
HS suffix is for a 350/255HP w/TH350 Trans. used in Camaro-Nova-Chevelle in 1969.
