A rare original unmolested....This car has never been restored....This car was repainted in 1984 in the correct rallye green lacquer....The motor was rebuilt in 1984 using original GM parts

I thought that original, unmolested cars were never painted or parts replaced except for wear parts? Am I wrong on my idea of an original, unmoletsed car? Please correct me if I am wrong, as I am here to learn.

It was on Ebay, not more than a year ago. We discussed it in length here. Apparently the owner wants to flip it and make a big profit. We shall see in a few days what the outcome is.

I guess it is the same owner, trying to sell it again. I thought it was sold and met reserve last time.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Ed M. PM me if you want info on a very recent confirmed sale of a restored 68 Z that we previously discussed. However, you may already know about it?

Looks like a very complete and original car with all the goodies (smog, heavy options, California black plate car since new, etc). HOW MUCH IS THIS WORTH? Saw a non RS Z-28 go to $34K. Being that is also an RS, what is the real value? Everyone, please give me your opinion. Thanks

My opinion? Low to mid 40's.

MCarFan: I seem to remember this car selling on ebay last time for $39000, but my memory is really a little cloudy. I would ask the seller what the deal is, did he just buy it and is trying to sell it, or if he is the same guy selling it last time and his deal fell through? If you ask, report back.
