And all it needs is about $100,000 in restoration work. But, RS/Z's will probably be going for $200,000 one day soon. We might laugh now but this baby could show up at B-J 2010 with a flock of hungry bidders shuffling up the ramp behind it as it's driven on stage. Ya' just never know.

That auction even reveals greater flaws in the car. The indoors pictures and fluorescent lighting ... that thing is royal shame! Whoever kept that car outside all those years should be ... never mind.

Imagine the $ it would take to bring this car just to number 2 resto. Might be a better idea to just buy a done car. Truly a shame to see such a cool car in this condition. At this point maybe parting it out is a better idea.

I remember 69LM1 getting beat up pretty badly over this car because he made some statements in his ad that others felt were not in line of what "they" interpreted certain key phrases to mean. In my opinion the bashing was uncalled for but everyone is entitled to their opinion and it showed. He bought a car he clearly stated was for resale and lo and behold he sold it and got slammed for it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

Anyway, he sold the car for around $14,500 about a month ago if I recall and now the car is on eBay with a buy it now of $25,000. WOW, maybe we should bash 69LM1 all over again for selling it so cheap. Just kidding.

My point? None really I just feel the bashing was a little premature and is pretty much justified on this resale. $10,500 gain in value in less then a month on this car? Unless I am missing something I don't think so. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif
