Check out these pictures from a car show in Japan. I would think that most of these cars aren't street legal.

Some of those cars make the local "ricer" cars around here look tastefully done. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif Oh my God!! You have got to be kidding me! From the "chin spoilers" that look like loading docks to the exhaust pipes that remind me of the poles that extend from the rear of the bumper cars on the boardwalk. These people think this crap looks good? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Wait 'til this trend comes over here and gets expanded upon by American kids. It'll be another chapter in The Decline of Western Civilization.

But, to each, his own. Just be glad this isn't being done to our beloved '60s musclecars. Maybe those Dynacorn repop Camaro bodies will come in handy after all...

I'm pretty open minded on peoples tastes....but this is the ugliest crap I have ever seen. One had a rear spoiler that looked like a 7 foot book shelf. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Just makes them easier to sabotage with those stupid hoses hanging out front. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

This is what Street Rodding is evolving into......used to be very heavily involved in Designing and Building Street Rods.......it got to the point of people wanting to be "So" different from everyone else that it got to the point of "Sillyness"......
But.......everyone has their own tastes......I just choose to not be involved anymore.....

I thought the cars that had the front extended spoilers double as forklifts!!!

Ugh. I've seen worse though - but they were japanese vans done in the same style.

Here's an example of one, but there are plenty of "more worser" ones...

All I could do was giggle and then try to get the theme song from "Ultra Man" out of my head!
