Well gentlemen, I see the lastest post about the top 10 fastest cars....now taking a place next to my yellow Camaro in the garage is the car I bought Friday. (I been doing my research for a month!) Canadian Built SS427 Impala with all the goodies as to documentation!!! If you've never bought a car that was Made in Canada by GM....WOW, it it interesting as to production procedures. You can acually get in touch with GM Vintages Services, give them the VIN # and they will authenicate the car!!!! I even contacted the Ministry of Transportation in British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario and got (for 12 BUCKS) the VIN Ownership history. (I will help registered member with this if you want) When's the last time you heard of a Chevrolet SS427 with an engine block heater?!? F41 suspension, M40 T400 and L36 engine. The freakin' thing rides like a Caddy. Well, more pictures to come, but wanted to share these with you all first.

I remember those days. Living down here now the season is getting ready to start! But isn't it a great feeling putting down some hp on the pavement? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Another picture for ya! Chevrolet By The Numbers by Alan Colvin is a priceless book when it comes to documenting Chevrolets. The car was built at the Oshawa, Canada GM facility 3/22/67. The build sheet evens shows the day it was shipped! The engine is T1228IS. more to come!

-------Absolutely gorgeous car. I love the big ones and you have one of the biggest and nicest I have seen. What about that option list??? I chose BIG GRR for my Grand Prix, how about BIG RAT for your SS Impala???...........Bill S

I've always had a soft spot for 67-8 big Chevrolets...but the 67 SS427 with the tri stack hood, round ralley style gauges, and fastback roofline is by far the coolest and most sought after IMO. Beautiful big car color too. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Nice ride indeed, this car did spend some time in Manitoba did it not???? On your documentation from GM of Canada does it state that the car has the Z24 option??? I own a 67 427 biscayne 2 DR all original car thats canadian built with the documentation. Sure is nice have the documentation available up here. I need a mostly rust free 67 biscayne 2 DR car if any knows where there is one let me know please. Thanks.

Why do you need a rust free 2 door Biscayne? If you don't mind me asking.

The body on my car is TOAST. Also good luck finding some NOS quarters for it. Huge money as well.

Jeff, I gave it some more thought. I like MY3TONS best for a plate on the Impala.
(Save your breath guys, I know already, a '67 Impy doesn't weigh 3 tons.)
