The car has been on ebay a couple of times and discussed before. Wants big time money for it.

He only mentions the word "replica" once and then continues to call the car a COPO afterwards. Someone miss the replica part could think he is getting the real McCoy.

Nice car but..

Speaking of clones GoodGuys is set to repeat last years' blunder. The winner at this year's Great Lakes show was a yellow/black ZL-1 clone. It has a display stating it is a "factory original" ZL-1 Camaro and is shown with Gibb Chev memorabilia. There is also a "by Berger" tag on it.

Winning a show qualifies the car for the "Musclecar of the Year" award. Stay tuned.

IMO, this was a car that somebody over-restored and now wants to get their investment back. They would do better by removing the "Berger" emblem off the back and just call it a clone. With one known exception, all Berger cars had the 9737 option added, so they were equiped with 15x7 rallys and tagged as X11 cars, not X44.
Lots of wrong details for a car of this level of restoration. I predict that he will list it on ebay many more times before it ever sells.

The present owner bought the car the way it is. I have talked to him numerous times and again i'll say he is a stand up guy. If anyone needs contact information please tell me.

--------While this is undoubtably a very nice car and resto, I am confused about a $100,000 resto where they couldnt squeeze in a "Bill Hodel" smog set-up. Whats another $2000 give or take. The lack of smog really takes away frm the car IMO...........Bill S

The seats also look a little flat. Did they forget to cinch up the center runners?
