I have a USA 1 plate on my 69 Corvair. I don't think it's the one you are looking for though. I don't have a close-up picture and the car is at my Dad's house now. I can look tomorrow. How can I tell if my plate is "right" for my Corvair?

The repops are much different than the originals.
Just to name a few differences...
The repops are a stamping. The letters are raised and the coloring is different. The original plates had painted words with stamped "USA-1" lettering. The new plates are aluminum and the originals are a heavy gauge metal.
You can buy the repops anywhere... Ground Up Restoration, Year One, Ebay... Hope this helps.

Repros are fine for me. Going on a period correct racecar so no need to be exactly the same. As long as the wording is the same. Thanks

I got a picture of it but it's not the one you want. Condition is not very good either.
