SEMA week party/open house [Archive]

In conjunction with the good folks over at www.lateral-g.net (http://www.lateral-g.net) , I'm hosting another party/open house at my car shop [adjacent to my lumber yard] here in Las Vegas during SEMA week. It's scheduled for Wednesday, Nov 2nd, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Complimentary hot/cold finger foods, beer, wine and soft drinks. I'll have a few of my cars and local cars on display, plus my friend Ron will be bringing 5-6 cars from his museum/collection in metro-Phoenix. LOL...you may remember Ron was the guy that bought 50 cars at B-J Scottsdale, 2004. We have approx 100 RSVP's from the Lateral-g forum site, so if interested...please email me at [email protected] for more details. Bob McClurg and reps from a couple other mags are planning to attend, so wear a clean shirt. Our place is about a mile west of the LV Strip, so if you print this map and give it to a strip taxi driver, he'll have you there in 15 minutes. Come one, come all...just drop me a line so I can arrange accommodations accordingly.

Can I come down???? question is it a old wives tail where Casinos will fly ya down for free if you show them you have a few bucks cash on ya???? ok..now stop laughfing and thinking I am being a cheap skate here..I want to fly down and back on them how does it work????? and no I dont gamble unless you call a lotto ticket about twice a year.....

Steve..........I don't believe we will be attending SEMA this year. Building a new home and shop (won't be near as big as your shop or near as nice though) so need to stay here and observe as it goes up. Got the basement walls poured and basement floor and garage floor poured last week/this week. Will start framing 1st of next week.

Thank you again for your invitation last year. We had a great time and appreciate the graciousness and generosity you showed to us last year while there.

Seriously, your hospitality is much apprecated, it was great to see you and Beth and the family, and the display of cars was terrific - thanks again!

Good luck with that new race car this weekend, we're looking forward to seeing it run down the track tomorrow.

Steve, nothing but the best all the way around, from cars to those that attended your open house. Approx 230 Guests turned out to make the 3rd Annual Sandlin Motorsports Open house a huge success.

Would also like to point out that the sYc/Team Camaro/Lateral-g folks took Steve aside and presented him with a Plaque which was inscribed

Steve, the party was the highlight of the week for me. Great hospitality, and food. Waitresses were AWESOME. I don't think we can thank you enough for what you did for us. The cars were fantastic. Again, thanks a million for the party, it was first class all the way.

I also had a great time - Steve, you know how to do it!

Nothing like free food and the smell of fresh lumber and gas/tires/oil! A great combo, imho!

Looking forward to next year. BTW, with a parking lot like yours, I see no reason to NOT have a burn-out contest. Hey, we do it on the STREET here! LOL

Steve, a Big THANK YOU from my SON & I -- we really enjoyed the Open House. It was nice to have a place to go and see some of the gang, Enjoy the Good Food and seeing all the cars on display!! We also Appreciated the offer of Transportation when we were in town.
