Here are some pics I got on CD of dads old Camaro. It is a factory RS/SS 396 convertible. It also had A/C, power top and the endura bumper. The car also had the guage package and cowl hood. These were taken in 1997 which is the last time I have seen it. It was sold in 1985. I have kept track of the car all these years. Here's the pics.

Cool Camaro, I like the 8-track! Did your Dad buy it new? Do you have any original documents for it? Do you intend to buy it back some day?

I have kept track of it and I do know where it is. From what I have been told by friends of theirs the car rarely gets driven. I would love to get it back but I'm pretty sure the car is worth more than I have.

Dad bought the car around 1980. I don't know if there was any documentation on it but it was original. It still wore the original paint as of 1997. It had some minor detailing over the years but never got a full resto.

His first new car was a Bolero red 67 Camaro SS 350. It was unique because the dealer did a custom stripe job on it when it was delivered. The nose stripe was painted gold and it split and turned to run up the hood (like the 69 Camaro stripe). It ran up the hood, over the roof and down the trunk. He was from Chicago and tried to trade that car on a white 68 Nickey 427 Camaro. The deal was set until my grandpa found out and stopped the whole deal.
