1969 Z11 Indy 500 Pace Car. Gold certified at the 2004 Camaro Nationals with 963/1000 points. (Now at 985+ point level) Original engine: 350/300, carb, rear dif, alternator, etc. 2 page window sticker of original options such as Vigilite, pw, air, tilt, speed warning, shoulder harnesses, console guages, etc. Everything works as originally produced: No dissapointments. A real car with undisputed pedigree and documentation from day one. NICB printout documents original shipping on 03/11/1969 from Chevrolet Norwood plant to Chevrolet Motor Division, Washington Zone Office. This car was the Washington DC Zone Office display car from March to August 1969. Original sales invoice from Bob Peck Chevrolet in Arlington, Virginia shows 08/19/1969 sales price of $5281 to first civilian owner. I even have color photos from the original owner from 1969 to 1978. Perfect car. I am happy to discuss the car with anyone here on the website. $85,000

Whats the best place to stay?

There are numerous hotels in Scottsdale where you can stay. I got a great package deal through Priceline.com, my flight, car, and hotel. It really depends on how picky you are in where you stay and how far you want to drive to Westworld everyday. My hotel is very nice, and it's about a 10 minute drive to the auction.

There are several Marriott owned Hotels in North Scottsdale at the intersection of Scottsdale Blvd and Frank Lloyd Wright blvd. They are pretty close to Barrett-Jackson.

I saw this car at the ill fated R/W auction in New York City. it is as the owner described. a great Parade Car if there ever was one. as a 6 year old Child, my father worked at "County Chevrolet" in Media, Penna. I remember those Cars coming off the trucks as clear as yesterday. seeing that car in NY brought me right back to those days. now where is my Partridge Family lunch box???

Will these do? I still have the entire family collection from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea to Family Affair! With 5 kids we had a bunch over the years. Gotta love the vintage RoadRunner sticker on my brother's Rat Patrol lunchbox. Hey, if you buy the car and I might throw in a lunch box, complete with the original crushed ice sounding thermos! Ah, brings back the childhood memories of lunchtime and finding broken glass in my milk.

Got to sell my COPO before I buy any Lunch Boxes!! That is very cool that you still have them. the Car is in much better condition though! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif My 7 year old keeps wanting to know what happened to all my Original Redline Hot Wheels Cars. I told him that I want to know the came thing!!

I still have all of my family's Hotwheels Redlines too, about 100 of them from 1967 to 1971. Thankfully being a pack rat is hereditary (my parents never threw anything away). I think my 4 year old has the same disease: every time he looks at them in the case he says: "those are for my kids when I grow up!" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would guess it depends on what denomination of bills it is stuffed completely full of. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
