Hi Guys.
Finally back in New Orleans. Actually, I have been back for two weeks or so, but just been going like crazy. Getting the business back up and rolling, finding new engineers to replace the ones who are not returning, and finding a new accountant as well.
All in all, it is good to be home.
First, thanks to everyone who offered to help with getting that 70 Monte SS. I really appreciate the offers, especially for those of you who offered to go out of your way to help. Those are the things that mean a lot. I was reading somewhere that several of the internet "communities" were literally lifesavers during and just after the storm.
Secondly, thanks for all of the well wishers and prayers, they meant a lot as well.
Just wanted to say thanks, and I'll try and post between meeting the adjusters, getting new employees and keeping the wife happy!
BTW- The garage, and the new "Cajun Musclecars" that was in the works was in fact looted. However, they got no camaros! They stole a few trailers, a firebird, and a few other cars as well as tools and the napa battery display. So, I still have my personal car (a Hugger Orange X66D80, bought new at baldwin chevrolet) as well as the olympic gold 69 LM1 and a X44 69. Both of the 73 Z-28's made out ok, with one having some slight water (about 1").
Again, thanks for the prayers!
Rich
