I thought I would share these. This is dads 67 Chevelle. It is a factory triple black L79 car. It is also came new with a Muncie 4 speed and bench seat. The car was purchased 3 years ago. It was a lifelong KY car. The original engine was blown up in the 70's when it was a race car. Last winter I pulled the frame and redid everything for him. The car now has a 383 in it.

I am yet to get some of the original pics from the 70's. One of the previous owners said he has some but I have never heard back on them. The original owner is deceased and I have talked to his widow. She has nothing on the car. Good thing we have the protecto plate to prove the L79. This was my first 100% done at home chassis resto. I did all the sand blasting in the front yard (the wife was thrilled) and my first attempts at painting anything. The car still could use paint and it is getting a stinger hood soon. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the excitement in dads face when he is with the car. The long days and nights were well worth it (6 months total, start to finish)
