Kicking around ideas on what color to go with on the `67. Original color was Marina Blue, but I really don't want to go back with that. Nice color and all, but there's just too mnay other Marina Blue cars running around out there--I want something different.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to 3 choices, in no particular order:

Butternut Yellow

Capri Cream

or...Royal Plum. Now that's different. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Your opinions?

I voted for Plum..that IS different.

Plum with a white top and white interior would be stunning! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Already been down that road once. LOVE the color, but the bodywork had better be dead-nuts perfect, and it is a BEAR to keep clean.

Tried to find some Royal Plum pics but came up dry save for one. Anyone have any Royal Plum pics to share?

Thanks Bruce!

Royal Plum is definately different and a fine color but I had to cast my vote for BY. I noticed that RP and BY were tied after I cast my vote.

http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif I'm partial to yellow........(Daytona) and for 1967, I'm hooked on Granada Gold. I wonder why http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Go w/ Butternut Yellow. I think Royal Plum would deter a lot of potential buyers if you ever had to sell it. Royal plum looks good at first but I personally would get tired of it quick.

the first pic of the "royal plum" is not royal plum but "madieras maroon" I don't know if I spelled that correctly, but I've had 67's in both of those colors.
Royal plum is definately purple, and a way cool color I think.

I vote D. Marina Blue... One of the nicer blues out there, and someday you'll probably wonder what it woulda looked like in its true original colors... or better yet, do it triple green.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

I vote E. Granada Gold. Just how many gold cars got painted a different color? I bet a lot. When the paint is done right it looks great. Of course that's my opinion. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

How about Tahoe Turquoise instead?

As much as I like Marina Blue/Bright Blue Deluxe, there are many cool '67 colors. Tahoe Turquoise looks beautiful, is seldom seen, and would be my first choice. Royal Plum (of the three listed I voted for that one) would be my next choice, followed by Deepwater Blue (NOT with Bright Blue interior, they clash). I would love to have a Butternut Yellow SS396, but I don't like it enough to color change a car to get there.

Two more cool colors - Granada Gold

And Emerald Turquoise

I gotta admit, I'm suprised it's this close...23 to 21 in favor of Royal Purple. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And only ONE vote for Capri Cream?

Hopefully in a month or two I'll be able to let the cat out of the bag in regards to my final color choice.
