Sam that is awesome. The Dean Car was sent to George Barris who painted 130 (The cars top Speed) in a New style Font never before used on Cars, on the Hood and Doors. on the back of the car was painted "Little Bastard". The car was silver. apparently Dean and Barris got friendly during the making of Rebel without a Cause as Barris handled the entire "Chicken Race".

"Little Bastard" and happy friends...The license plate is a reproduction of the actual one James Dean had on his car in 1955.

A while back, and maybe still airing from time to time, there was a Speed channel "Behind the Headlights" show about the JD car. Some crazy stuff surrounding it. Pretty much anyone involved with it or had parts from that car had something pretty bad happen to them. From buildings that the car was in burning down, to it getting stolen at one time and the title left behind in the place where the car was. I THINK they said the car was gone, either completely MIA or destroyed by now.

His friend said he would kill himself in it within a week. Well, 7 days later....

Definately interesting, nonetheless.
