Does anyone have a nice clear pic of the imprint left by a POP that they could post or email me please? I need to talk someone through reading me their POP and I'd like to send them a pic first. Thanks, Mark

Perhaps this page (http://www.geocities.com/don111ca/page994.html) of my website will help a little. It's primarily referring to 69 Chevelles.

Thanks Don,

That should help out a lot.

Still would like to get a pic of the imprint though so he understands what I am referring to.

Remember that the both interior and exterior codes will not be on a 69 Camaro POP.

Nice imprint as well esp with the booklet having the VIN also punched in it.

?

All the booklets, that came with the POP, have the VIN punched in them.

Was 68 the only year with the Vin punched through the entire book?
I remeber a couple of 68 Chevrolet Books and they al had the VIN punched through them...but I do not recall if any other years had the "Swiss Cheese" POP Books

Mine is a '68 NOR with the vin punch... I just "assumed" all the first gen's had them... I have no special knowledge on the subject.

Here's a thread on camaros.net that shows some pictures of POP's, including a "fake" or reproduction one...
