How about 1500...season is almost over

There is no "season" for a real Biker. You can ride all year round.

There is no Sportster for a real biker either...its a scooter to go to work on if you work close.

What kinda mileage does something like this get? If gas keeps headed the way I think it is, a cycle might be a good investment...!

Gas Prices are on the way back-up. This bike has the unique sound of the 1000cc Iron head and the Patina which only a well cared for 26 year old piece of Americana can exhibit.

Stefano,
Sell that thing yet? Classic scooter... how much to ship to CA? I buy east coast bikes from time to time 'cause here they have lots of miles from lots of riding year round.

In the 90's I had three bikes in my garage, but sold the last one a couple years ago. My last east coast purchase I bought in Boston, same type deal as this, only I rode it from there to LA over a Labor Day weekend on a whim and a first class plane ticket. I had no feeling in my legs for three months. It was a hoot until I ran into a squall in Beaver, (no joke) Utah.

The company that I work for ships bikes all the time from from all over the country to AZ. Let me know if I can help... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Thanks, Bruce! Where in AZ? I have picked stuff up in Phoenix, making it there and home in one day, with no problems.
These are minor details. My concerns are with my buddies with big Harley's and dealing with all the "what's that sporty gonna be when it grows up," etc., etc., comments...

I live in Peoria...about 20 miles northwest of Phoenix proper...the company that I work for is in Tempe...
I will check with the warehouse manager tomorrow and see what he has to say... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

If anyone cares about my .02 regarding shipping a Harley here it is. When shipping a Harley I only use true hard core bikers, they don't care if it's a chick bike as long as it's a Harley. Cycle Express @ 602.524.8819, ask for Tank, he will get it there.
