This one on ebay right now is for sale and owner wants $11,000. No paper but claims to be all original. Granted it needs some good work to it, but find me another one for the money? Tough call here.

Nice car but it will take some money to get it back to it's true SS days.
Some obvious things are the grill is wrong year, valve covers are wrong for an SS, and it may be original color paint but not original seeing that no SS cars came with stripes.
Looks like he's done a lot of detail work under the hood and fresh splatter paint in the trunk.
If he's looking to get $11,000 it's a pretty good deal.

The VIN on a '72 Will tell you which engine it was born with.

This car has been listed before. VIN and trim tag indicate real deal. 5th digit K = SS350.
The last auction met the reserve at 7,625.00 on May 22nd. Since then the engine was indeed detailed. Also most likely the surface rust in the trunk was sprayed over. It also had a healthy tear(s) in the drivers seat. If anyone is interested in this car PM me. I have the original auction with pictures.
