I thought you had to be a paid up member to sell on this site. ?????? The $25 seems very reasonable for access to a quality audience. If this is not a rule it should be in. IMO

Somebody tries to sell some great parts like a set of BBC factory aluminum heads and an M-22 and now they're being harassed about paying $25.00 to sell. That's wrong. I think it's great that these parts are offered to people on this site first for a fixed price instead of having to fight for them on E-bay. People that might have been cleaning out their garages that may have wanted to post things for sale here may may now say to hell with it and go straight to E-bay. This has already killed most swap meets, be a shame to let it happen here now.
I think the gentlemen's agreement in the past has been that if an ad on the site results in the sale of a car or part, then the seller makes a contribution and becomes a member of the site.

Ebay is free now? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif It costs money to keep a site like this up and running so I would think if you were taking advantage of the high quality of the site and its members and audiance for your own personal gain it would be a no brainer to become a member yourself. This site has a membership that is more like a family than a common web page used car lot. $25. bucks wont break you and you'll get those cool little general stars too. You dont want to upset uncle Vito now would you http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

There should be a way for members to get 1st crack at the sale items and cars, then after 2 days it goes out to the public. Be an incentive to join up..
