i have a 70 nova it is NOT a real YENKO nor is it a clone i just liked the stripes and i wanted to break up the color some this car has alot of new parts and has only been driven about 30 miles and only 2 passes at the track 12.88@104

Engine: 66-67 396 .040 over 10.5.1 compression,7/16 dimple rods,nitrated steel crank,closed chamber large oval port heads with 2.19 1.88 valves,comp solid cam .595 .595,new springs,pushrods,roller rockers competition products single plain intake,750 holley.Engine is fresh has been drag raced two passes 12.88@104 and olny driven about 30 miles total

Trans: turbo 350 w/trans brake,JW ultra bell,TCI sheild,full roller bearings inside,TCI 8" 4500 converter,again the trans is just as fresh as the engine

Rear: 10 bolt 4.10 gears mini spool done about a year ago

Exaust: hooker competition 2" primary 3 1/2 collector coated,3 1/2" custom exaust flowmaster mufflers all new when engine was installed

Interior: new door panels,carpet,front seats are from a Grand Am the rear seat needs to be recovered and it needs a headliner,winters shifter,auto meter gauges,grant steering wheel,6 point rollbar(used to be 8 but door bars have been removed)

Body: New quarters,trunk pan,front floors were fixed with flat metal but rust was removed Harwood 4" bolt on cowl hood doors and fenders are solid heat has been removed firewall smoothed,new subframe connectors

Ignition: MSD 6al with two step and blaster 3 coil billet distributor MSD plug wires

Wheels & tires: Weld pro stars 15x3 1/2&15x8 M/T et front tires(28x4.5) and et drag radial rears(275/60-15)

Misc: slide-a-link traction bars,aluminum radiator,12 gal fuel cell,holley blue pump 1/2"
braided fuel lines front to back,battery in trunk with master disconect switch,Hurst linelock,wilwood proportioning valve,corvette master cyl

im sure there are some things ive missed this is a great car drives like a dream goes strait and hooks hard make a great bracket race/street car

Looks like a pretty nice car for the money... I'd think it would be hard to build a 12 second big block anything for 8500.00.

I agree. Heck there are 12 sec. snowblowers that cost more lurking around here...

Sell it and use the money to fix up those 2 real Yenko Novas you have out in the barn.

Joe thats kinda the idea we are selling our house right now and moving out to the farm and i just dont have the room for this car i hate to sell it.i can drive the hell out of it and have no regrets

mike im in the process of moving and as soon as i get settled in the new house the cars will be about 150 feet from my back door i will have some more time to get the info to you guys and i will just bear with me cause the wife is on my ass to get stuff moved into the new(old) farmhouse we just finished remodeling
