This should be an interesting auction to follow next month....

Is this car well known or has it been discussed on here in the past?
The same seller has a 66 Chevelle SS396 with 10K miles....

The Z/28 looks like the twin to mine. I noticed a couple of things about it that aren't right. It has a chrome breather lid with the ZL2 induction. The ZL2 may have been added later in the cars life. Also, the smog setup is missing.

Also the heat shield under the carb and the proverbial upside down inside out cowl induction seal. This will be a interesting one to watch. From the description it probably is what they claim. I love the fact that nobody has painted the engine to make it auction fresh. Will the orig patina on the car hurt it's sale ? Will the average auction buyer buy another Z28 parked next to this one because the it sparkles more ? Will it match the 112K the POS yellow one brought a couple years ago ?

Boy is it nice to see original upholstery, nice and tight, just the way I like em......
I'm not sure if new seat buns are too poofy or installers can't help themselves with the hog ring pliers....most new interiors have that too much junk in da trunk look.
What is the green part on the wiring on the firewall?
Looks like the green plastic insulation covering the aftermarket Female Spade terminal going into the Cowl induction relay.
Is that a Glass Windshield Washer bottle mounted on the Drivers fenderwell?

Interesting that the smog equipment was removed as well. I wonder if they still have all the smog parts.

A collector buddy of mine in Mpls. told me about these a couple of months ago. An acquaintance of his (and others) have been trying to get these cars for a while. This guy finally got them by doing a package deal along with a late model Impala SS. He immediately got BJ numbers to flip them. I think they're the real deal, and I'm sure the smog is long gone and that the previous owner didn't care to replace it. Boy I know '69 Z's are strong, but I have a feeling that Chevelle will outdo it. A red 360hp car with no miles is pretty compelling......

Nice steering wheel on that '69...looks mint.
I'll be at B-J so I'll look at it up close and personal... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif
