I was over at Jim Brady's (member name JIM) shop yesterday and I saw this car in person. It is absolutely beautiful. I love the color combination.
It should do very well at auction. Good luck Jim. Jim's 70 LS6 Convertible (http://www.barrett-jackson.com/events/scottsdale/vehicles/cardetail_list.asp?id=183631)

That is a real purty one indeed. Amazing how many good cars pop up around Dec/Jan.
If all is true this one will kick some serious butt at BJ.

Lot #1320 (ha, that's a good number http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif ) means it will cross the block about dark-thirty on Saturday night http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif At least I'll get to see it up close & personal. Love that color combo http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Really...is there a better '60's/'70's color that just screams performance more than HO...?
Its 75 Cranberry Red I will attach the protecto-plate and buildsheet
Heres a copy of the buildsheet, the car has two with the Vin number on them. 44,800 original miles. Chris White, Kenny Pascoe, and Jeff Dotter viewed the paperwork at Fall Carlise including the Baltimore Assembly plant road test papers Jim http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

There is no way these cars will crack 1 mill......YET! I can't see how an LS6 convert could bring more than a ZL1 as nice as that blue car was at Mecum.

That day is coming...why not now?
With all the talk about the body stamps on the mist green 70 LS-6 convertible we dissasembled our car for these pictures. This car has recently been added to the LS-6 registry and Jeff Dotterrer has just done a Diamond Certification on it. Its Real and Red!!!!!. We will be showing it in the expo starting the 13th of Jan with the wheels off to get a good under view. Look for all the SYC guys there. Thanks SYC!!!!!!! A Friend went to Barrett today and fell in love with the Futurliner. He said it was the coolest thing there. I'm guessing the guy with the Ferrari hat will be buying it for the museum in Colorado. It is gonna bring big dough..
Charley Lillard

Big dough ? The Ferrari hat guy spent 3 mil on the olds last year. I think the bus is cooler. If he wants it I would think he would be willing to go in the same neighborhood. All we need now is for another deep pocket to want it also.
What's your opinion of what it's final bid will be?
