okay just got a mallory rev limit tach off of evil bay and i'm quite happy on what i got.it does need some restoration though to make it look good once again.it has 2 small holes drilled in the cup for wire access that i want to repair/remove how's the best way to go about doing this. would thin sheets of fiberglass and resin work or use fiberglass bondo to fill those holes in.the other is the bezel it needs to be re-painted silver can i use spray paint to redo this area or is there another process

okay got the tach all purdy'd up ,i re painted the bezel with chrome paint and fixed the gauge cup with fiberglass bondo and sanded it smooth.so now the tach looks really nice now the @#$$%thing will not work right.it first acted like it was on the wrong cylinder selection because it read high. i readjusted it back to reading an 8 cylinder and the rev limiter works fine but the shift light and face plate light doesn't work.the shift light was working when i first hooked it up but now it doesn't,i hope it's bad bulbs.

does anyone know of a place that refurbishes electrical items like this mallory rev-limiter tach ?? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif
