Alpha and Omega! On the right most will recognize the last Hemi 'Cuda ragtop made. On the left, fresh from the Roger Gibson resto shop, is the 1st. Brilliant restoration. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

You did a great job on the pictures, and got some really cool cars, I noticed that some had '' Tissue Dispensers'', I don't feel so bad since I've got one too. must be a new crazy to go with big block engines, for the '' Losers'' that run against you,Ha Ha.. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif....Kasey

Thanks for the pics, Sam!

The first and last Hemi Cuda ragtops ever produced show up at a no-prizes cruise night http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif Other than one of the SCR's, show me another place on earth where an event of that stature is likely to happen. Sam,

How about some more info on the Fred Gibb '66 Impala? Owner? Any paperwork with the car? If not, could you get the VIN? We might be able to come up with some.

Good point Dennis. I did in fact see some L-72 Impala paperwork in all the Gibb stuff. That would be cool if the owner could get a copy of the original paperwork!

Bruce,
Do you know the name of the owner? Funny that the front license plate is different in your shots. Also wondering where the "Fred Gibb Chevrolet" flier came from, since it's a shot I took at the March 2nd, 2003 Event in LaHarpe honoring Dennis Hartweg! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

Dennis,

I have only seen that car once at Pavillions....In March.

I will keep a lookout for it now, though. Sam (Brice) do you have any further information? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hmmm.gif

Sorry guys, I was out of the loop today. Yes, the car is owned by Kevin DeWitte from my area and he has beaucups paperwork and attended a car event (can't remember which one) this past year and spent considerable time with Helen Gibb discussing the dealership and this car. Nice of you to offer tracking down the paper work though. Kevin's car is really a beauty. You just know its special when you are around it. Apparently, Helen even signed a Gibb license plate for Kevin too.

How come Bruce's pictures are so much nicer than mine! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It is a very cool car. The owner is a member but doesn't post often. Hint; He is the original owner of a COPO Super Car.
