I have to think that if this auction is legit and someone has unknowingly purchased a fraudulent car, especially if this buyer is out of state, then the FBI would want to know about it. With all that has been discussed about this particular car and auction, the seller has been put on notice that the car is fake. To move forward with it shows willful intent to defraud someone over state lines which then brings the FBI into the picture as it is a violation of the interstate commerce act just to start with.
I'm not a lawyer by profession but something like this really scrambles my eggs.
I hope the seller gets what he deserves.
