Had a customer in this past week that saw my Runner sitting in one of the buildings and got started talking cars with me. Seems his cousin bought a new Chevelle SS396-375 when he got home from 'nam. It is a black 4-speed car. Well this guy must not off been use to high performance cars as the car, according to his cousin, scared him to the point that around the 1000 mile mark he parked the car and it has been sitting since http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif. Of course I asked if it could be bought to which he replied "don't know"..... Will try to get to see it come spring.

That would be a nice find! That car possibly could be the standard for the original people to go by if it exists.

That's when things will slow down for me. Being in a business where we build/maintain snow removal trucks my days are typically long and the guy who knows where it is at works as a snow plow truck driver. It's hidden and isn't going anywhere.

I had second hand info on a Yenko Camaro in New England a few years back. It was supposedly an real Yenko, in a garage for 10 or 15 years.
I was in no position to buy it, so I just kept my mouth shut. Anyway, by the time I was ready to investigate, someone else had found it.
Point of the story is.....don't bank on, "it ain't goin' anywhere."
