Just came across an all original - only thing on this car that I can tell is not original to the car is the Holley carb - its new. 1969 Blue with a white vinyl top, white interior, 396 350horse w/ 400th, 12 bolt posi. This car is in need of a restoration - needs quarters, trunk, some floor work, good solid project, definitely do-able. What is the range I should be on this one? Any help?

Are you asking what should you pay for it in its current condition? If so, I guess it depends on what you're looking to do with the car.

I am looking to purchase it and make it look a little nicer with some TLC and turn it.
Thanks
Mike

If it is really and truly all original and unrestored, probably the best thing you could do is buy it and just clean, clean, clean and detail it, then flip it. Once you start doing floors and quarters and paint, where do you stop? If the car had good documentation and owner history, and you got it for free and did a full blown, 100 pt. resto on it you'd be doing good just to recoup your costs.

I'd say if you can buy it for $10K and clean it up to sell, you'll make a few $$$.

I sure appreciate the info - I can get it bought for 6 - so that leaves me some room.

Ok - I got the car bought - it needs quarters - story is they had some bondo put in about 20 years ago - held up ok, but needs to be fixed, needs floor, trunk floor, rockers, front fenders are pretty good but need some fixing. Rear window area is real solid - some pin holes on roof by front windshield? Car has numbers matching JE block runs great with new hooker headers, 2 1/2 exhaust, Holley Carb.
If you know anyone looking let me know - everything is there, pretty much unmolested.
