Yes, knowledgable guy indeed and throw in there that he is one heck of a great person. The beauty of this site for me is getting the opportunity to meet people like him.

Have a great day buddy.

Thanks everyone, just the other day I was talking to a good friend Bill Wildt and I said to him I cant belive the best days of my life are over. He laughed and said get a paper and pen and write this down "the best days are yet to come and put it in your wallet and in five years pull it out and we will talk about it". I know one thing for sure with the kind of guys on this board and many more reunions to come Bill is probably right. To the guys over 50 whats your opinion best days over or yet to come.

Hey John,

For your birthday, I am going to get us a seat near the window at the BBQ place this year at the Reunion so you don't hurt your neck keeping an eye on your car again! LOL

Have a good one! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

See you soon-
Colin

John,
Since I turned 50 I lost my father, as you recently did, went through an expensive divorce and have made a few hospital visits (although nothing serious).
Sounds like things aren't going too well eh? Well the other side of it is: I drug out an old car I've had for 36 years, cleaned her up a little and started attending some car shows. Because of that, I've met hundreds of people who have brought me some of the best times in my life. Many of those folks are here on this site and a select few of them have become very close, trusted and valued friends.
Last summer I remarried; a lady I've admired for years. My kids have accepted her well and things are improving daily.

So, my opinion; DEFINITELY, THE BEST DAYS ARE STILL AHEAD OF YOU. ENJOY THEM!

BEST WISHES SIR!
Dennis

Dug out? Boy is that an understatement! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

You are so right Dennis, don't look back, look ahead and enjoy the best days ahead. A lot of us should follow that advice.

Collin maybe by next year I can park in the handicap spot and get a senior discount. Darren and Bruce dont worry next year same time same place I think we have a tradition going. Bob and Schoney we might still eat the same food it just shows a little more we listen to the same music but now we need a hearing aid the mind hell thats been gone for a long time already. Hey Dennis Im sure in ten years I will be telling someone who just turned 50 it definetly gets better. Im glad everything worked out for you.
