has anyone ever seen the ZL3 SS396 conversion and Z15 454 conversion on the same build sheet and the car was built as a 396 car?

I have never seen the "dual RPO" codes used on a L34, but the time frame your car was built (12-01) and in Baltimore make it seem logical. The hypothesis is the dual RPO codes were used in late Nov-early Dec of 1969 at Baltimore as that is where 454 production started..hence a L78 car could be used as a LS6 and now with your sheet quite possibly a L34 car could be used for a LS5..At least that is the idea.

Donnie that's not as unusual as some might think.
I first came across a Chevelle like that in 1988 and always thought it had a bogus buildsheet.
I kept a copy of it as an example and over time found more of the same like it soon afterwards.
Yours looks authentic to me,as some 396's,be it L-34 or L-78,were coded like that.I have examples of 1970 Chevelle SS Documents showing cars build like that unevenly as early as mid November,to the begining of December. My opinion is it was an override code that wasn't needed and overlooked, before being deleted on some of the Baltimore L-34 396 builds.
I would also like others to take notice of pullerNC5,or should I say "G-Dog".
There is only one person I know of that uses the words "logical","hypothesis" & "hence" in the same paragraph, and he was asked to be banned from this site just last week,so it was honored to him at his embarrasing request because he couldn't stay true to his own word.So will the real Greg Carlson form Richmond,Va. please stand up,or is this the infamous "backdoor" you speak so highly of? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Dude,
I just joined this website....Sorry for stealing your "thunder" by posting..I guess by the guy asking where you were and your "MR70" screenname you are some guru, but I just posted what I know about based on reading on other websites. Sorry if I used words you don't, but give me a break...
I had heard some negative things about this website, but joined anyway. Maybe what I heard is right..
Sorry for posting.
