Hot Wheels and Sports Card Colletors

Just wondering who here collects them? Theres an auction coming up for what is said Hundreds of Hot Wheels cars and Topps and Score Base Ball Cards. What would Hundreds of HW cars be worth?? I know it depends on which ones they are but if sold as one lot at a small town auction what would one expect to pay??

Really depends on what is for sale. If looking at hundreds of Red Line Hotwheel expect to pay a significant amount of money. There are other newer Hotwheels that hold value. Some of these series are the Treasure Hunt cars and Bonus Cars. Both of these series can compare to the White Lightning series put forth by Johnny Lightning/Playing Mantis. There has also been a recent spike in late 70s (77+) to around mid 90s (95 ish) regular series cars still in there blister packs. The Real Riders series by Hotwheels is always a favorite because the rubber tires. The Final Run series is also a nice collection because various cars are in their final editions. Condition and rarity always plays into the value. I do not think ebay really show correct market value for regular Hotwheels cars. Check out this awesome diecast site (http://www.thetoypeddler.com) for real prices on these cars.

I would echo everything Dan said. I have A fairly large collection of Redlines, many in blister packs. Between the fact the cars are being sold in quantity and also advertised with Score baseball cards I would suspect they are newer common cars.
