This is a nice and not often seen '68 L78, M21, 4.10:1 SS Camaro in a beautiful color combo (Cordovan Maroon) and owned 33 years by the same fella! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Sorry,
Was paid a visit by an out-of-towner (see below) from up north and spent the last 8 hours talking cars. Some kind of expert on Toyota Tundras. I'll git on it boss!!!!!! My internet connection has been dial-up speed x24 hours - that's my story and am sticking to it!

This car generated serious buzz. Never saw so many vultures. The owner was either real country bumpkin or was playing the gallery like a violin. This is a reported 22K mile 70 Boss Stang with original paint. Looked real good to me. Lots of docs in addition to Marti report. Heard $75K being thrown around. Cool car. Love the color. He was frustrating the hell out of seasoned local muscle car dealers with his long pauses and hmmm I think a car like this at BJ would do........ Terrific source of entertainment! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

Sorry guys, but my computer is a pig. Will try replacing the kanuter valve and see if that helps. This next one is a flat out BEAST. Greg Fernald has a shop out here in the area and builds these beautiful machines. This 68 Dart Hemi has the optional 572 Hemi pusing 650 HP and hi 500s in torque normally aspirated. It is a wonderous thunderous rumble when it is fired up. He must have fired this car up 20 times last night. You could hear it from anywhere at the show. Greg's attention to detail is outstanding. Very customer oriented fellow. BTW, he does 68 Hemi Cudas and Altered wheelbase cars too! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yeah, I know these are clones, but if this car don't float your boat, you ain't alive. Greg uses Chrysler crate motors now, but is considering casting his own and improving on the original Hemi design. Even the windows have the pull up straps as the original did. Did I tell anyone I like these. My GM buds accused me of seeing me at this car everytime they passed it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Promise, this is the last Dart shot. Hey GARY P., on the left coast, I caught this picture you might be interested in. Some vagrant off the street, aka Bob A., grabbed the keys from Greg and took off in the Dart and thrashed the living snot out of it on the 101 loop. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif Came back later with the tires smoking and pulled up like nothing happened at all. No, actually what happened was, when Bob couldn't get the keys he sat in the front seat and I caught this picture of him making car sounds like varrrrooooom and squeal. Kind of sad actually. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

There were quite a few '69 Z's there - all respectable: Red, Black, HO, and F Green. Here are a couple that were for sale. Both were priced nearly the same from 2 different guys. First one is $62950. BTW, I have contact info on some of these cars for sale if you are interested.

Not to slight the Ford fans. This big FOMOCO caught my eye. This '64 Galaxie 500XL convertible has a 392, air, console. The interior on this car is so sporty and easy on the eye. Owner wanted $35K OBO.

Here is a majestic beauty that was in stark contrast to all the working class rides at the show. This is a 1939 Packard All Weather (as long as you are not the chauffeur) Cabriolet. There were eight of these made and this is the last year for the TWELVE cylinder motor. The owner bought the car in '99 in baskets and finished the resto locally in 2002. It is an AACA Senior 1st place winner. The workmanship and and attention to detail on this automobile were stunning. There was a register on the floor for the rear occupants to keep their tooties toasty. Owner paid $800.00 for the center cap on the horn! I was gonna try to impress him with the cost of an LS6 distributor, but thot better of it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
