Style codes on 64 cars don't differentiate between GTO and Lemans. The later GTOs have unique style and VIN designations. Cross your fingers on the PHS docs.

so i go see the fellow with the phs docs in hand and tell him it isnt a real gto.his face got all red and then the stories started to come out.the shiity thing is someone is going to buy that car thinking it is a gto and pay way to much for it.i made him a offer for what i thought it was worth and he freaked out.i was lucky to get away with no broken bones.still iching to find another toy so i will keep hunting.

Another "user" of the hobby http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif..the amount of Scumbags like that are coming out of everywhere is becoming ridiculous...getting very tough to buy a decent car anymore without getting taken....really have to do you due dilligence.

Thats the beauty of PHS though...this guy must not know they can be documented...sure wish Jim would get it done over at Chevrolet...

Boy that car looks fairly fresh, at least the paint. How long has it been in that building or barn. I would hesitate to call it a true barn find. I need to see pigeon poo !.

Gotta love the PHS system. Any news of anything ever happening with Chevrolet documentation? I remember Jim was trying to do something, but then it all stopped.
