If it has "authentic" documentation and if this L78 Nova was in fact originally sold in Canada, I would click on that "Buy-it-Now" button ASAP, even though it does not have the original BB. I live fairly close to Blaine, WA. Maybe one of the other members can go and take a look at it for you before you click away and buy it. Good Luck! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I had a close look at that car with a fellow who did one of Tom William's car from the ground up. Pretty scary project but nothing that $40 thou wouldn't fix.

vette1969,
It shouldn't be difficult for you to have a look at the car, it was located on 0 Avenue south of Langley. I guess my point was, if you want a number one car, it will cost you a few bucks but it is mostly there as long as you can access the parts you need and know someone who can do a good job putting it together.
There aren't too many big block Novas around but with a little nosing around, I have found 6 bb documented Novas inc. mine within 50 KM of me.

I tried to buy the other 5 to no avail so I had the word out and found a '70 L34 down Island after 6 months or so. Patience and luck will always do it!
