A friend of mine's dad has a black '78, 400 Pontiac/4-speed, with something like 300 miles on it. I never liked these cars until I saw this one.... It may be for sale.

Wow, that's the rare Gold Special Edition. They built that for about 2 weeks in the early part of 78 right?

No. They made over 8k of them in 1978. If it's got a W72 and a 4 spd, then it's value goes up. I see it's a WS6 car by the wheels so it's probably got a W72.

Wasn't there A story about one of these cars that sat new and unsold in A dealership that closed down many years ago. I thought I saw it in A magazine A year or so ago. Is this the same car??
