Funny, its not even on the ebay site so ebay can't shut it down. Try some of the links, they don't even work. Click on the bid history, there's 161 available (of some art print that doesn't match the auction).

Too much....what's a car guy's world come to? . Pretty clever the fake eBay setup though....I tried clicking on a few things but they're either duds or ask for your eBay password! . Too bad on the duped buyers....the real price actually looks like a pretty good deal! ~ Pete

skierkaj - how did you come across the "ebay" listing? Since its fake I'm guessing you found a link to it on a classified site, yes?
If so, these guys have found a way to do this outside of ebay so the "auction" doesn't get shut down. Place an ad on an enthusiast site and include a link to your fake ebay auction that's hosted on some anonymous site, get some sucker to bite and then email him posing as ebay to tell him how to complete the transaction. These guys must be making a killing.

I always figured these idiots were just collecting e-mail addresses. How niave of me. Damn! The guy should have called the cops and had them catch the guy picking up the money but my guess is, he was long gone before he realized it.
Hope it wasn't the guy at the top of this thread. I was also wondering how he got to the ad in the first place.

Check these guys out. Same host as the original E-Bay scam ad. These boys are making a killing on all kinds of cars. Same $2500 required deposit.

Also, after further thought, the only way a person contacted the actual owner of the Yenko clone (Streetdreamstexas) was by using my link. I think the original poster was the one who got stung. Sorry dude.

You are only one target among thousands each day. How important do you think this whole threat makes you?!Have you ever wondered why you live so good while others, unconsciously, work for almost $100/month to serve you. How your government makes that all possible. How you stay unemployed and yet receive $1000/month? <br>Maybe you don't... but you vote others.

Holy Crap!!! WTF is going on? I copied and pasted the link directly from ebay, and it gives a totally different web address!!! The link I posted looks nothing like the Ad I first saw!!! The Ad I found looked genuine enough to be an actual auction, but the link looks totally fake!
