------Which one of the four-speeds is it, M22 or M21. I cant quite see anything in the documents. Man, these particular cars travel around. I dont quite understand it. You would think this car would have found an end user after all the times it has sold. I know the M22 car to be a beautiful resto and have heard that the M21 is as well. The auto is a beauty too, I believe.........Bill S

From what I can see it's an M22. I will be bidding on this car....provided I hit the Power Ball lottery this week http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You should have bought it when it was a few towns away from you. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

That car has switched hands 4 times since I let it go last year. If anyone would like some information on it let me know. I combed it inside and out. Sean http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Speaking of Orange COPO's......
I had a COPO Chevelle that had a -- for the paint code on the trim tag. I was told that it originally came as Hugger Orange. It was an M21 car with NC8... a Canadian car.
The build sheet showed under COLOR LW was blank, UP was blank, ST was P, and W was XX. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Was Monaco Orange a standard color? Was it different than Hugger Orange?
Yea..... sold that one about three years ago... smart!!

Paul, with my limited knowledge on that matter I believe that Monaco (Hugger) Orange was only available on the '69SS (along with Daytona Yellow). If your COPO wasn't based on the SS then it would receive the special paint designation.

Paul,
Was yours the one with the cloth bench seat?

That is one awesome COPO. Did you also own the White Berger LS6 coupe at the time?

Yes, I sold both the COPO and LS6 to the same guy. Have you seen the cars?
