Dyno time for the 321 block.
I used the origional distributor and then put electronic in the old distributor. What a differnce in Hp and tork. At 3800 rpm with the Petronix ign it made 435.9 FT/LBs and 315 hp, at 5900 rpm it made 382.9 FT/LBS and 430.1 hp.
Put on the points dist and at 3800 rpm it made 413.4 FT/LBS
and 299 hp. At 5400 rpm 363.3 FT/LBS and 373.5 HP.If I only knew this info back when I was hangin gears at the TREE.

Looks great, nice engine numbers too! Is that a solid lifter, square port motor?

Thanks for the compliments
The car is being done by The best Canadian body shop in the business or at least I think so (Brooks Rods ) in Guelph ontario he did my 1934 steel sedan delivery hot rod and my L78 7o chevelle. He does nice work. The willies in the back ground in being redone by Hugh because the owner
was not satisfied with the butcher who did the body on the car
and now Hugh is fixing it right expensive when you do it twice. He has 3 in his shop
one is his that he is just about finnished (Whow).
Yes this motor is a 427 standard bore 4 bolter
never been molested, solid lifter 425Hp rebuilt stock except
for the crane steel roller rockers.October 1967 casting date
CE block Just like the convertion block installed just after the origional owner took delivery of the 68 Camaro The owner took it to NY to have the 427 installed.
then went on to be the class record holder at the Detroit drag strip. Car has a great race history which I am trying
to document all the history. I think it is important to
document a cars history, every small detail.

I am includint a pic of the 34 ford
