Hey, Why not, with the way things are going anymore. I bet he was going to take it to the crusher but his buddy said try ebay, so he is. How much do you think??? 6-7,000 before its over for this beauty? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I bet there's somebody out there thinking: Hey, I'll just throw the orginal pre-wreck photos on ebay and then blame the damage on the shipper.

Better put this VIN on the list of "soon to be rebodied" cars

Wow! Is there any part on this car that isn't bent or broken?

Ok...Everyone probably thinks the car is beyond fixing...right ?

If it were a ZL1 would you still think it was beyond fixing ? :-)

Here's one of Webster's definitions of fixing....seems somewhat appropriate to the situation at hand? ~ Pete

Fixing : to influence the actions, outcome, or effect of by improper or illegal methods.

Anyone who doesn't think that car will be back on the road in a few years is kidding themselves.

Replace a panel at a time and you've still got the original car, right!?! Very sad, what did it hit and how fast was it going?

The only way I see that I could get that thing back on the road would be to buy it for my son and say: You fix, and it's yours. And then just stand back and watch the rust fly! (BTW he's only 5 at the moment but he swings a mean hammer)

I mentioned this once before. I had a friend back in SE PA
many years ago that wrecked his green/green RS Z/28 in much
the same manner. I don't even think that the rear spoiler
on that car was salvageable. He hit a bridge stantion at
near 100 mph ( and lived to tell the tale ).

I remember seeing that pile of junk and wondering what
happened to his beautiful car. That car went to the
wreck yard and got scrapped. Today, I bet it would fetch
a pretty penny on eBay as well.

If it's a legit car (certainly appears to be) I would much rather see it re-bodied than sold off bit by bit on E-bay with the title and tags going to Utah, DZ motor in NC, tach and gauges going to ???? This car can be used to fake at least 10-20 cars???

I'm seeing a dynacorn shell or Mike's CC in its future.

VIN has been logged on TC, as I'm sure it has been here. I guess we'll see it again in the future. Trim tag info would help.

Anyone know how it happened?

It will need a few pulls by a good frame man on the body to get the front stub to align with the sub frame mtg holes again, and bring the firewall back left. A good frame man could do it. Just a little time and patience.
