I see that along with the Blue Deuce in the March 06 issue on page 12/13 theres a small article about Mr Genovese's car collection. one of the pics shows a Black 68 from the rear. the article states
[ QUOTE ]
The Camaro is well-represented thanks to this Baldwin Motion '67 SS 427. The black-on-black Camaro is also all-orginal down to its Aluminum-headed 427, side pipes and goodyear redline bias-plies rolling on charcoal Torq-Thrusts. And look at that black paint; we couldn't find a defect anywhere.
[/ QUOTE ]
Anyone have any other pics of this car besides the rear shot with the hood up. Car sports a rear spoiler and rear antenna along with the Motion stinger hood thats opened. Any idea if theres a web site for this collection????
Would like to know more about it esp the Alum headed 427 and the cars conversion date.

Awesome! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif If anyone here is aquainted with Mr. Genovese, see if he'll share some pics and stories of the car and maybe bring it to the Reunion. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif

Is this mag worth subscribing to? Or pick up as good ones come along? Opinions.
George
It's a tough mag to find.
They don't like to sell on the newstand and prefer Subscriptions.
I have been fortunate enough to find only one local store that carries it.I find it is not worth subscribing to,as some months are more towards the Tri fives & Modifieds then I wish,so I just buy it off the newstand if that month interests me.

Thats the input I was looking for thanks. $40 is kind of steep. Going to try and find it this weekend for the March issue and go from there.

I thought it was pricy also. I had to call almost a dozen book stores before I found a copy.. nice mag but 40 compared to 10-12 for most is a little steep..

I subscribed at the Atlantic City auto auction last year for a very reduced fee. I think I paid 13-20.00; not certain what it was. I think it's a great magazine and look forward to each new issue.

across the boarder in Freeport IL.
I wonder if that black '67 is the the same car that was proven to be a fraud about three years ago when one of the board members bought it at an acution? As I recall, the auction company took it back. I am not aware of a single documented '67 BM Camaro that still exists, but perhaps this is legit. Just seems like it would have surfaced before now. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
