New record price for GTO Judge?

A black 1970 GTO Judge convertible with the legendary Ram Air IV engine sold for a whopping $410,000 at the RM Auction in Boca Raton, Florida, February 10-12.
We cannot confirm that this is a world-record-high price for a GTO, but Pontiac experts are at a loss to recall one selling for more.
Pontiac engine guru Jim Taylor of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, rebuilt the engine and transmission on this valuable car, and John Kane Restorations in Bedford, Pennsylvania, did the paint and body. Taylor photographed every number on the engine and told Hemmings Motor News the car had all the correct numbers and date codes.
Just 13 convertibles were built with the Ram Air IV engine in 1970. This engine produced 370hp and is considered the pinnacle of Pontiac performance. The total number of Judge convertibles produced that year is 168. This car is believed to be the only black Ram Air IV 1970 Judge convertible built.
We know of Judges selling routinely in the $100,000-plus range, but this sale seems to top all. GTOs are among a handful of desirable muscle cars to enjoy huge gains in value over the last few years.
