Any thought on this tag and stamping? Unfortunately these are the best pictures I could get. Do these look legit?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,
Everything looks to be legit there,at least to my untrained eye.
My car is almost a twin to yours,Norwood built (04D),Hugger Orange,Blk stripes,711 interior...the only difference was mine was built with a Blk vinyl top.My body sequence # is 278576 so there were some 26,326 Camaro's built between the two cars.
Have you been to www.camaro2ndgenerationregistry.net (http://www.camaro2ndgenerationregistry.net) yet?

Look for the VIN # 01N5XXXXX on lower left bellhousing flange as example pic below shows.............also VIV will be stamped on Muncie case along with assy date
Suggest you find knowledgeable help to check out all the details on this Norwood Z-28 to verify what is correct and what isnt........http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/CamarosRus/Camaro%201970%20Resto%20Details/Vin3.jpg

I don't think anyone can give you a good opinion on that engine stamp because the pic is too crummy. You really need to pull the alt off and get a pic with the camera on Macro setting.

I've decided to pass on this car.....however, still looking for a good documented '69 or '70 Z-28. Your right, the existing pictures are almost useless!

You may now want to share the info on this car with the other members now that you have decided to pass on it.
May I ask why?I would think a '70 Hugger Orange Norwood Z/28 would be a very desireable car.
