Here's a better picture of what's inside...the original NHRA weight/hp factors...here's a page from the Mercury section that I scanned for my buddy Brian Stefina, who runs a '58 430/400hp Monterey in Pure Stock... that car was THE most powerful car of the '50s!

Rob,
Is there any other information in the book other than weight/hp factors? Such as allowable engine specs/parts per class?
Verne http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
Bob,
I already have all the rule books from '59 into the '70s.....thanks.

Nope, this is just the guide with hp/weight factors which determine in which class each make/model/engine/hp/trans will run...

Finally acquired a super rare NHRA piece I've been chasing for a while: an original NHRA Tech Manual, from Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, PA! It's chocked full of NHRA tech bulletins, original NHRA blueprint specs for each make/model, original fliers & payout info from Maple Grove, and lots, lots more, all from 1950-1980...well worth the wait, and a great bookend to the NHRA class guide I got a while back...

I'm especially interested in data on any parts released and approved mid season for those years. That looks like the book that should have that info. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
